HYFA Academy (c. 2004)
For some time now, I've been sharing my passion for art with learners of all ages. In our studio space, artists learn by being artists...it's that simple. In addition to building strong technique and skills to make good art, as a teaching artist I have high expectations for learners to explore and experiment so that we connect art with lived experiences and life. Our studio-based environment allows learners to be artists: together, we thrive, grow, and create because art matters beyond traditional standards, school walls, and classroom rules.
